This is my primary service!  Having an experienced auctioneer means that you will raise MORE money, have MORE fun, and create MORE great memories for your guests!  It means that the auction will stay focused on the worthy purpose and goal of your event, you will get top dollar for your items, and you will avoid putting uncomfortable pressure on your attendees.  You will also get the benefit of all the “tricks of the trade” to painlessly increase the amount of money you raise, while increasing the amount of fun and festivity of the event!  Here is the package:

  • Pre-auction consultation on auction items, order of sale, event schedule, physical lay-out, and presentation
  • A 15-30 minute training for your Bid Spotters (traditionally called “Ringmen”) and auction volunteers
  • Experienced Auctioneer for your Live Auction!: Humorous/fun, festive, enthusiastic (I only accept events that I can believe in!) and well paced!  I will connect with your audience, hold their attention, and help you raise maximum possible funds, all while having a great time!
  • Overall event MC services (all or part) may also be included, on a case-by-case basis

FEES: By agreement/arrangement. My usual fee is 9% of the total funds raised by the Live Auction (with a maximum $1,600  fee). This seems to work well, since the more money YOU make, the better I do.  For small auctions (under $5,000), my minimum fee is $500.  Depending upon the type of auction, I am also open to discussing a flat fee for a larger event.  Remember, YOU will make significantly more money with an experienced live auctioneer!
